We absolutely loved our dining experience. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. It is open and airy yet peaceful. The wait staff is dressed cute yet professional and are very friendly. We had the Blueberry Lemon Cobbler French Toast which is to die for and the California Eggs Benedict which was perfection. If I wasn't heading home to CA this afternoon I would visit again tomorrow.

The food is absolutely delicious. Even though they get full very quickly they manage crowds very well, you don't wait long. Ambience is cabin like.

We went on a weekend and it was busy. Sat and waited for about 1/2 hour for a table. The service was top notch. Since it was the weekend, the menu was their breakfast menu. Excellent selection, hard to choose! I had the BLUEBERRY LEMON COBBLER FRENCH TOAST. Hand battered french toast rolled in house made oat cobbler (contains pecans and almonds) and topped with vibrant blueberries, scratch made lemon curd, and real whipped cream. Served with warm Birch Door blueberry syrup. My husband had the EGGS KORY. House-ground bacon and cheddar cheese folded into three scrambled eggs and set atop a toasted croissant. Finished with a ladle of mushroom sauce and served with three buttermilk pancakes. Nice open restaurant with big windows for natural light. Will definitely go again and try their lunch menu.

This is hands down one of the best breakfasts I have had. The bloody was amazing to start. Following - the pumpkin pancakes were to die for. Our waitress was so incredibly kind and helped lead us through the menu - we picked both an omelette and a scramble. Both were delicious and would definitely get again!

I came here on a Sunday with a bigger group for brunch on a Sunday. The wait was about 45 minutes. Let me tell you, the wait was well worth it!! Austin was my server, he was great! Awesome customer service and so much help when I asked him questions about the menu. I asked him what was popular and he suggested a few things. I took his advice and was so happy I did! My food was amazing! I had eggs Benedict with salmon and a coffee! Literally 10/10!! My brother, kids and friends all enjoyed their food too! I would highly recommend this place, and will definitely be back next time I'm visiting Washington again.

This place still had a bit of a wait even on a weekday afternoon, but it was well worth it. The food was delicious and the portions were insane. My friends got the Apple pancake and a Benedict, and I got the Blueberry lemon cobbler French toast with a side of the breakfast potatoes. I'm usually not a fan of sweet breakfast foods, but the Apple pancake and French toast converted me. The fruit tasted fresh and the pastry parts weren't excessively sweet, so the pancake and French toast weren't monotonously sugary. The potatoes tasted good as well. Service was great. The staff gave helpful recommendations and checked in to keep our waters full and to see if we needed anything. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience and I will definitely be back.

Food: Delicious and large portions. Can't go wrong with their breakfast! Had to try a few different items than we normally get. - Apple Pancake...my daughter described it perfectly...it's like bread pudding! The first hot bite was like a crunchy apple cinnamon sugar cookie. The smell was intoxicating!!! When you order this one get ready to hear a bell ring from the kitchen! This is a great portion for sharing or even as a dessert. - side of bacon - kind of pricey for 4 slices, but at least they are large and cooked well. - Seasonal Peach Cobbler French Toast - fresh peaches; however, we could only spy 3-4 peach slices. This one was sweet and decadent. Would be great to split with someone who was getting something more savory. Worth trying though, just really rich. Service: Great at first, but had to wait a long time for a water refill. They were really busy, so we understood. The line/wait may look long, but it does surprisingly go by fast and well worth the wait! Ambiance: Cute antique mixed with farm house decor. The servers all have a great sense of style. A great family friendly establishment. We can't wait until our next visit!

Wow! Food 10/10! That was the best Corned Beef & Hash I've ever had! Everything was great and made from scratch. We had the Biscuits & Gravy, the Northwest Eggs Benedict, & the German Pancake. All were delicious! We also had a Cappuccino too. Our server Saima was super friendly. The interior is spacious and tables can be adjusted to fit large groups. There is also an outdoor area as well. It's busy here on weekends, so be prepared. I highly recommend!

We came to the Birch Door as a party of 8 on a busy Saturday morning. We had to wait 1.5 hours for a table, but that was due to the size of our group. We wish they did reservations! I ordered the Northwestern Benedict for me with a Pomegranate Mimosa. I love this Benedict-they nailed the hollandaise, and the smoked salmon that they use is delicious. The pomegranate mimosa was nice and tart too! This was a solid breakfast. We were there for a birthday, and they were nice enough to bring out a sundae for our friend. It was very sweet. I love the Birch Door! They also have some toys, coffee and locally made goods for sale.
